weigh 10.8g(0.0249mol) cerium nitrate hexahydrate (Ⅲ), dissolve it with 26mL 2.8mol/L nitric acid, and add 36mL 2.0mol/L ammonia water to dissolve 12.7mL(0.124mol) of newly steamed acetylacetone solution. 0.2mol/L ammonia water is added dropwise to the mixture. When the pH value rises to 6.0, the hydrate of cerium acetylacetonate (Ⅲ) precipitates. After precipitation and filtration, wash with 25mL water for 3 times and dry at room temperature.
